Tucked under shady trees and just a short stroll from the Groot Marico River, River Cottage is a warm and welcoming self-catering space for up to four guests. Perfect for families, friends, or couples who enjoy a little more room, this cottage offers comfort and quiet in equal measure.

Inside, you’ll find two cosy bedrooms—one with a double bed and the other with two singles—along with a bathroom (shower and separate toilet). The kitchen is fully equipped with all the essentials: fridge, gas stove, microwave, kettle, and toaster. A spacious lounge with a fireplace and a dining table for four makes it easy to relax, share meals, or play a board game on cooler evenings.

Outside, the cottage opens onto a two-level stoep: one part shaded, the other beneath the trees. It’s a natural gathering spot for meals, reading, or simply listening to the bushveld. A braai area invites long, firelit evenings under the stars.

From here, it’s just minute’s walk to the river’s edge, where you can wander along the river, pause at the labyrinth, or dip your toes in the Groot Marico Rivers’s clear waters.
