This isn’t a typical cottage—it’s a glamping escape with two separate cosy bedrooms, each furnished with a double bed, offering both privacy and comfort. A separate bathroom with a shower and toilet keeps things simple and convenient. Here’s the special glamping twist: to enjoy hot water, you’ll stoke a fire beneath the wood-fired geyser—perfect for lovers of times gone by and by gone times.
A large roofed area combines a semi open-air kitchen and dining space, perfect for cooking and enjoying meals together. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering, with a fridge, two-plate gas stove, microwave, kettle, and toaster. The walled lounge under the same roof provides a cosy spot to relax and socialise with a pot-bellied fireplace for those cooler evenings.
A reed enclosure surrounds the Gypsy, creating a spacious and private outdoor haven. There is also an outdoor braai area.
Just a two-minute amble brings you to the Groot Marico River—nestled beside the ancient canal and labyrinth—for a relaxed river walk, birdcalls in the air, or sweet stillness by the water’s edge.
