The Marico area is best known for its biodiversity, breath taking scenic views, the iconic Groot Marico River, local unique cultures and unforgettable mannerisms reflected in the “Marico Way”. The Hanging Garden is the perfect retreat for those seeking to completely break away and disconnect from the buzzing city life.

The Eco-Chalet is a private, self-catering, fully equipped, off-grid unit powered by solar energy and gas, and accommodates 4 guests in 2 bedrooms, each with en-suite bathrooms. Both bedrooms comprise of a king-size bed that can be converted into 2 single beds on request. Each en-suite bathroom includes a shower, toilet, and basin.
The indoor area features a kitchen with a fridge, gas oven and stove, a dining table, and an indoor braai/fireplace. The outdoor patio includes a second braai/fireplace, dining table and a splash pool.
Access to the venue is via sand roads off the N4 highway and high clearance vehicles are recommended. Secure parking is available on the property. Guests can enjoy on-site activities such as swimming, walking/hiking, mountain biking on the bushveld farm and surrounding farm roads, guided walks, tree scouting, bird watching, and stargazing. Nearby activities and attractions include prearranged fishing and game viewing.
